Life's a Doddle when you Doodle!

“I was a doodler since an early age and find it helps me to focus and concentrate on the moment.  It has also been a great introduction into the creative arena."

"If I am stuck on a problem in my business then either in my notebook or on a scrap of paper I pick up my pen and doodle… I normally do swirls and squiggles."

"This inevitably clears the blockage and I find myself coming up with all sorts of ideas for solving the conundrum at hand."

Doodling is known to be calming for people with stress and mental health issues and is immediately beneficial bringing you back to the moment from your whirlwind of thoughts. Doodling also can help you recognise and express your emotions.

World Doodle Day, is about creating a workplace culture where mental health is talked about and people can be themselves.

World Doodle Day is held in October to coincide with World Mental Health Day on the 10th October and the charities we support will be looking at how they deal with mental health along the way.

The Pelican Cancer Foundation is our nominated charity for 2018 and they are aware of people having major operations for cancer being more susceptible to Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome.

Creativity is a great cuts across differences, sectors and attitudes so wether you are rich or poor, abled, disabled, young or old you have creative potential within you.

Doodling as a very basic component of creativity is a good introduction to the creative arena.  If raising awareness of mental health for businesses, promoting creativity across all sectors and supporting a great cause sounds good to you then please get on board for our World Doodle Day journey.
