Mental Health at Work

Awareness of mental health is on the increase, however we still see people with mental health issues face discrimination and stigma. Many who experience distress try to keep their feelings under wraps because they are afraid of other people’s responses. 


Fear of what people think and feelings of shame are some of the top reasons people give for not telling their colleagues about their mental health problems. 


We need to create a workplace culture where people can be themselves. 


This will make it easier for people to speak about mental health concerns without fear, and to reach out for help when they need it.
